I am just about as close as you can get to a Fort McMurray lifer, having moved here in 1984 as a small child. I am also home-grown here at Fort McMurray Alliance Church. I accepted Christ and began my faith journey in grade 11 during one of our yearly youth ski trips and spent three years at Briercrest Bible College where I met my wonderful wife.
I joined the staff of Fort McMurray Alliance church in the fall of 1998. My focus began in Youth Ministry with a desire to see students come to an understanding that they are created with purpose and destiny that is above and beyond that which pop culture is trying to sell them.
Over the last few years my focus has broadened to include the twenty/thirty something generation that is calling Fort McMurray a place to hang their hat and looking for a place to belong, a place to be known and know others.
I believe that deep community is the heart of the Jesus’ teaching and outside of community each of us will never achieve our maximum potential. We are striving to create places for community to happen. That is where I am at today, passionate follower of Jesus, husband, soon to be father, friend, enthusiast of sports and fellow journeyman on the road of life.

Carol’s warm, down to earth approach will make you feel welcome whether you call, email or come to the church during business hours. She will be able to answer your questions or direct your call. Carol and her family have been a part of Fort McMurray Alliance Church for the past 17 years. She loves her job at the hub of this active and growing church family and will be pleased to meet you.

Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain is formed by a group of people from our church who are committed to prayer and know it brings results. Needs can be called into Carol at the church office (780.791.2434) or emailed and they will be passed along the prayer chain, in confidence, so that each need is coved in prayer as we look to God to give wisdom and help.
