What To Expect
What's it like at the Alliance?
You’ll find our church warm and welcoming with an informal atmosphere. At most services there is someone to greet you on arrival.
You will be welcome to sit wherever you are comfortable. Our music is contemporary and most weeks we have a band and some singers on stage to help lead the congregation in worship songs.
We are non-traditional and encourage freedom in worship. This means that some may lift their hands while singing, some may kneel and some may just sit quietly in their seats. You are welcome to be comfortable being yourself. There is no expectation.
The offering is taken so the regular attendants may contribute as they wish. If you are visiting please feel free to let the plate pass by.
We are pleased to have you join us and encourage you to simply observe or participate as you choose. No one will put you on the spot.
It is our desire that you will feel the presence of the Lord here and join us as often as you wish.
What should I wear?
We are a casual church and whatever attire is comfortable for you is welcome here.
What about the kids?
You are welcome to have your children in the service with you. They are part of family life and we enjoy them in our midst. If your little one is unhappy we have a nursery you are welcome to use.
As you and your child gets comfortable you may wish to leave them in the nursery for the entire service. They will be cared for as they play with others their age. Children's Church is available for those aged 2–5, and for the older children in grades 1–4 we offer a Sunday School program.
