Music and Worship Ministries
Purpose
To glorify God through a meaningful worship experience and to lead the congregation into personal worship through music and scripture.
To challenge the pre-Christian and the Christian to commit themselves to Christ through the power of worship.
To provide worship team members the opportunity to worship the Lord through song in the area of their giftedness and provide the ministry outlet necessary for their own growth and the building up of the body.
Worship Team Members
Participants on all worship teams must be born-again Christians and in a growing relationship with the Lord. This should be evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit. (Gal. 5:22-23)
Worship team members should also be committed to the Fort McMurray Alliance Church and it’s leadership. This should be evident by either membership, a minimum of six months to one year of regular attendance or have references from their most recent pastor which would substitute for in-house experience.
