MACyouth

MACyouth exists to help students in grades 7–12 find a safe place of belonging. We were all created for community so MACyouth aims to provide opportunity for that to happen. We want MACyouth to be a place where students can come and seek out answers to some of the many questions that face youth in our ever changing rapidly moving culture. To help our youth understand that they were created with purpose and destiny, and not just for the future but for today. We want MACyouth to be a place where we can walk alongside others who are on the journey of following Christ, learning how that impacts our everyday lives and becomes much more than something we attend Sunday morning.

How does all that happen?

MACyouth functions in three main areas:

Friday Nights
A place to come have some fun getting to know people developing community through a variety of events. Every week is something new and different so call the FINK line for all the latest. 743-FINK

Weekly Small Groups
These happen on various nights of the week, they are places where relationships grow deeper and look into the Word to see how it applies to everyday living.

Summer Mission Experiences
Every second year we take a group of students somewhere in the world with the intention of stretching their worldview to include something other than Fort McMurray. The purpose is to give the students a taste of missions and exposure to a lifestyle that is completely different than what has been normal. In the past these trips have included going to Mexico, Grenada, and the downtown east-side of Vancouver.
